The only aspect of my mother's care with which I was pleased,while was she there as a rehab patient, was physical therapy. While some of the caregivers were sweet, they did not appear to be well trained and needed supervision was missing. On one occasion, when my mother returned from physical therapy soaked with urine, it took more than 30 minutes for someone to come help her out of her wheel chair to change her--after repeated requests for help from me. On the same occasion it took 45 minutes to get her some pain medication. The issue of her medications is another story that I won't try to recount here. We were quite relieved when we finally got Mother discharged (not without a fight from Signature). When Mother first arrived, a "corporate" representative asked me to evaluate her care when she had only been there over a weekend. Had they asked for an evaluation at the end of her stay, my answers would have been far less positive. If the "user review" ratings include those initial corporate interviews, the rating may well be misleading.

Although we are not perfect, we strive for it and your feedback is critical to this process. You will be happy to know that, as a result of your review, we have implemented several policies to ensure these occurrences are the rarity not the norm. For example, routine audits by our leadership team to ensure call lights are being answered in a timely manner as well as in services on ways to continue to offer superior customer service.
