Review of Chestnut Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center

May God help you if you enter this facility. I was there and checked out early and that was not fast enough.

I would give it a minus rating.

I am 61 and was sent there for rehab after a two day major back surgery. How horrible can a person be treated, I feel as if I don't owe them one thin dime. They owe me, the NRA, Tina that was assigned to me an a very elderly lady did absolutely nothing. From day one, I did it for myself and tried to protect the other lady. I did report the NRA, she was back the very next day. Don't get me wrong there are some really wonderful NRA's working there and they did over work them terribly. This home is out of the 17th Century, it should have been closed years ago.

My back was suppose to be fixed, I had been waiting all my life for this and now it is really damaged due to the lack of care and abuse from this facility. The PT were fantastic. This is the most unsanitary place that I have ever seen in my life.

I do not mind telling my name and I have not finished writing to higher authorities, no not Chest Nut Ridge. Cell phones can not reach to the outside and if they do, you are immediatley cut off.

MY Name is Sarah Hoyt and Please do not put your family member there unless you do want them to die. Oh and I am paying for this not medicare or medicaid.
