My mother recently had a stroke and required short term rehab before returning to her home alone. I really didn't know what to expect from the facility since my mom is only 50 years old, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff made me and my mom feel welcomed. The staff met with me and my mom within 72 hours and discussed our goals for her. They continued to keep me abreast of any changes in her overall status. I was welcomed to participate in her treatment. I can honestly say if you are seeking rehab, give UniHealth Austell a try. I especially liked that the facility is near the hospital where mom's physicians are. My mom was able to return home after six weeks of rehab and even returned for outpatient rehab. Great job!!
