This place has not treated my 94 year old aunt well at all after only 10 or so days. She is there for only rehab for a few weeks to regain her movement so she can take care of herself. My mother had to complain to the staff after 3-4 days of them doing no rehab with her at all. The staff had doctor orders that she needed to be exercised for 20 consecutive days. Their explanation for not doing nothing was well you can always extend her time here. Can you believe that. They were not interested in getting her independent, but on extending her stay for more money. My mother explained to them that there would not be any extension but that they needed to do their jobs as directed by doctors. My aunt was consistently exercised after that. Later in her stay, my aunt who was not able to walk to the bathroom by herself asked the staff to change her. The nurse cursed at my aunt because she was not expecting to have to clean up such a mess. Aren't they senior citizen nurses at a facility? How unprofessional and rude to curse at a 94 year old woman who can't take herself to the bathroom. Further, she told my aunt that she should have told her what she had done. What? You are a trained and paid professional. Don't expect the patient to help you do your job. I would never use this facility again for a loved one. I do not advise newcomers or those wanting to return to this place to use Nurse Care of Buckhead. Once my aunt was able to go to the bathroom with assistance, she had to wait over As if all that were not enough, my aunt had to wait over minutes for someone to come to her aid after buzzing for them. Terrible nurse care, just terrible.
