My Mom was in Manor Care in the Fall of 2011 and sorry but it was not a good experience! It became clear they were all about the mighty dollar and how they could keep her in rehab for as long as possible. The first 20 days, nothing much happened. Never consulted with her or the family or had an action plan until meeting (which was a joke) on day 21. Therapy was good but only maybe 2 hours a day. And one aide really stood out from the rest. But there was lost clothes never replaced. Did things with her medications that didn't make sense. Never dealt with the social worker who in my opinion is just another high paying job for doing nothing. It was awful and I would never take someone I care about to that place again. Not a good experience!
