Palm Terrace is an outdated, run-down facility. The bathrooms aren't large enough to house a wheelchair and a person and shut the door at the same time, and they smell like urine. The care given at night is poor at best. The people on staff at that time are gruff and mean, especially the CNAs. Sometimes the nurse call bells ring for an hour or more before someone comes to see what is needed. However, there are CNAs talking and laughing around the nurses station which are totally neglectful of those bells. The people that are there to get well and have PT are put in rooms with the dying. PTs andOTs are great. Just not a place that I'd want to even leave my dog. The nurses during the day and early evening hours were terrific. Other than that, I found nothing else positive about the place.
