Barrington Terrace is understaffed. There is not enough nursing help at this facility. Patients are yelling for help and it takes at least 15-20 minutes for a response. If your loved one has dementia do not put them in Barrington. They won't be able to tell you that they are be neglected. There isn't a Dr at the facility, he comes in once a month. I think there is 1 RN on duty and not sure of the qualifications of the other staff. If a patient falls and is not near a call button they can lay there calling for help for a long period of time before someone comes to help them. I heard this place is better than most. The place is attractive and clean. The staff seemed to be polite. It makes me cringe to think how bad other facilities are. My loved one died there, I would NEVER put my other parent in this place.
