I was trying to help a close friend who lives in New York, find a decent nursing home/rehab center for her mother. I was familiar with one in Broward County on Sample Road because my Dad spent several visits there after several hospital stays.
I decided to visit Manorah House before giving her my recommendation and was very pleased with what I saw. Firstly, visually it was warm and welcoming and the decor was inviting. Secondly, and even more importantly, there was absolutely no weird or offensive smells or odors and the place looked immaculate! The nursing staff seemed pleasant and accommodating and gave me a "spur of the moment " tour which I found to be extremely encouraging since they had "northing to hide."
All in all, as far as nursing homes/rehab centers go, this one seemed very acceptable. I would recommend this facility and their staff highly.
