I would never recommend this nursing home to anyone for long term care. Their short term rehab facility is decent but long term care is a completely different story. It's not air conditioned, many nurses and aides are rude and don't pay enough attention to what needs to be done. My grandmother was in this nursing home for long term care, although not for permanent care. There was a list of things she couldnt eat but for every meal there was always something on her tray that she wasn't supposed to have. She needed all of her drinks to be thickened and there was never any thickening powder to be found. She had C. DIff. twice when she was there. It couldn't be helped, but the second time she had it, they tested her for it but didn't tell us. They let us bring home her soiled underwear even though it's HIGHLY contagious. They also moved my aunt, who was also in the facility at the time, into her room even though she was suspected to have this. This is just a small snippet of all of the troubles we encountered there. If this place can be avoided, AVOID IT!!!
