An elderly family friend has been at Kindred for approximately 8 years. She is very happy there and the staff and residents have become the family that she has lost over the years. The facility offers many different patient activities and the meals are well prepared providing a good variety. As the POA for this resident I often have to deal with the office staff. They have always been friendly and more than helpful. However, I do feel the facility communication could be better regarding doctor, dentist, or other appointments as many times I find out about services rendered when I receive a bill for the service. Occasionally I do run into a “grumpy” caregiver and feel like I’m bothering her by asking questions. Overall, I’m very pleased with this facility and would recommend it to anyone looking for short or long term care for a loved one.
