I cannot say enough good about the Cambridge Care Center. If I ever find myself in the position of not being able to care for myself I would want to be moved to a long term care facility like Cambridge.
My Uncle was in the Cambridge Care Center for five months before he died of pancreatic cancer. The nursing staff was not only competent but caring. The CNA's worked hard and as far as I know they always answered the call button quickly. My Uncle often mentioned how kind the overnight staff was to him, when family was not around to see what was happening after hours. The custodial staff kept the facility extremely clean and it never had an odor. Everyone from the administer down focused on patient care and the needs of the family. The other residents in the facility greeted staff warmly when they passed each other in the hallways. This is a good sign that the residents appreciate and feel safe with the staff that is caring for them. I am pleased that my Uncle in his last months had a wonderful staff watching over him and caring for him with such kindness.
