Review of The Pavilion at Ocean Point

This is a great place to drop off a relative or loved one if you would like them to die. The hospital recommended this facility to us and they obviously have never toured the facility. It was dirty and from the start nothing went right. The air conditioning didnt work. The patient didnt get Physical Therapy. The CNA on average took over an hour to respond. The patient had a broken arm in a sling and that arm was used to turn and roll her, as well as pull her out of bed. She had bed sores and was told it was her fault and would have to deal with it. The pinnacle was when we finally got orders to transfer out the charge nurse and social worker said she could go after dinner. While she was eating dinner they came into the room told her she was being transferred and was not allowed to eat. Then took the food from her hand told her food was only for patients that stayed and left the room. If you love your sick or injured family member or friend dont send them here.
