These people are understaffed, and neglectful. My grandmother was in there recently after having a stroke and heart attack and she actually regressed while being there. They had her on all these different meds that she shouldnt of even been on, and discredited her pain as "hallucinations." On top of that when I went to visit her her lips were cracked and scabbed over meaning she was very dehydrated. She was not able to get her own water and the staff knew of her condition which means they should have known to be the ones to give her water. We wanted to have her taken to the hospital 2 weeks ago and they refused to let her go! We finally had to get the D.O.N involved to override their orders. Grandma was taken to the ER and the doctors said that she was severly dehydrated with an untreated bladder infection!
I think copperridge is a decent place for people with certain conditions but they should have NEVER been intrusted with taking care of my grandma with the condition she was in. They could have a major lawsuit on their hands for neglect.
