I wouldn't kennel my dog there. My grandmother was there for 12 hours, after which I came to visit her and took her home. Here is a sample of the issues we had in less than 24 hours:
1. A/C was not on or not working. IT was stagnant and hot in her room. She complained several times through the night and was ignored, until the morning when someone finally opened a window for her, but even still it was uncomfortably warm in there. Even I noticed it and I am usually cold.
2. The oxygen tank was so loud that she couldn't sleep. When she mentioned it to the staff she was told they didn't have a quieter one, but a few hours later they found one. That one was still very loud. The noise was so overwhelming that she needed a sleeping pill to help her rest, and she never takes those routinely.
3. The halls smell horribly like urine.
4. She is diabetic. It says in her chart she is diabetic. When they brought her in, the nurse checked her blood sugar and it was high enough that she wanted to give her insulin, so they KNEW she is diabetic. Yet in the morning, they brought her white bread toast, and orange juice. When I mentioned that, their excuse was that the doctor had ordered a "cardiac" diet, not a "diabetic" diet.
and last but certainly not least (and not all)….
5. They sent her home with medications. When I crosschecked the medications I found that they sent her home with two medications with different names that did the same exact thing. I found this out only because I checked the internet to find out what it was. Had I not done so I would have unknowingly overdosed her. When I called they apologized, but assured me that THEY wouldn't have OD'd her, and would have only given her what was on the list. Great, but how many families trust that the medications that their loved ones are sent home with are the right ones to take?
Horrible.

After reading your review and the replies, I am even more concerned about my grandson. He is 22, and was taken there yesterday for PT after a broken leg. He also says the place smells like urine, the room was dirty and had personal things left by the last patient still under the bed, was also ignored although he tried for three hours to reach someone on duty. Later he used his crutches during the night and actually walked out of there to get some fresh air, and no one questioned him as to why he was outside the facility. I'm headed that way in the morning to try and get him moved to a better facility. Any suggestions? I don't live there and would appreciate any references for other places.
I agree, the place should be closed. My son is in there, and he is to big for me to take home right now. All my complaints were ignored as well, and I had to fend for myself and get my son a blanket. They should be closed down.
