I was a short term (10 days) resident. It was pretty clean, but the staff was substandard. Most staffers had English as a second langauge and at times communicating with the CNAs was difficult. I don't know how any of them received a CNA without knowing English. Food was fair to downright awful, dinners were absolultley terrible… once I got essentially a stack of bread for dinner. Most often it was a dollop of some macaroni with some ham pieces mixed into it and beans, yes, a plate a beans. Fortunately had had friends and family to bring in food. I wanted to get healed enough to leave but the PT staff was variable, from pretty good to having no clue. I had friends and family get me out of bed (I needed assitance) to walk me around. The staff frowned on that, so when I said "then get me a PT" they said none were available. That's when I told the staff to get out of my way. They specialize in people who will stay in bed, and "health" and "wellness" are secondary. They are in business to collect insurance money.
