Review of Buena Ventura Post Acute Care Center

2 Star User Review

For someone of hispanic ethnicity this is a good facility as it is in the heart of East Los Angeles. The street to the facility looks sketchy. They provide moderate cultural activities celebrating Hispanic and American holidays and they provide mexican dishes. However, they only have 1 or 2 rooms that are private, most rooms are shared with 1-3 beds. There seems to be a failure of communication between physicians and business office. Often times, the business office wants to move the patient out quickly which may contradict the physicians opinion. Business office may put pressure on the family to move the patient out. They focus mostly on physical rehab. Social worker lacks experience and knowledge leaving you to feel you are on your own. Physicians are not readily available to families to discuss issues of concern. The company website claims treatment not really at the facility in East L. A.
