I have a relative who was staying here until a few days ago when a nurse injured him. She inserted an IV in his hand which caused an allergic reaction. He told her that it burned and was hurting really bad and she told him that, "It's good for you", turned around and walked away. He suffered blisters to the hand and forearm and pulled out the IV himself.
Their doctor attempted to override my power of attorney, which only a judge can do, and told me that my relative didn't want to go home but wanted to stay there. I talked to my relative the next day and he said that he never said any such thing. They lied to us.
They then would not tell me how much longer Medicare would be paying for his stay and tried to get us to sign up for Medical so he could stay with them. He only wanted to go home, so that's what he did. We took him home and they tried to stop us. This place is being run like a prison.
They keep the patients in their beds most of the day and won't let them get up or walk around or wheel around in their chairs.
If you have a loved on in there, I'd be watching them like a hawk. They are dishonest and only want to make money by housing the elderly. Disgusting.
