This is the ghetto nursing home of the suburbs. I would not put my worse enemy in this nursing home! They hire anyone with a pulse. This facility is poorly managed, and the nurses can care less. This place is not clean, and the facility is infested with bed bugs. Don't put your loved ones here.

I have lived in the skilled nursing area, the independent living area and now in the assisted living area of Lakewood Senior Health Campus. The quality of every area of my life has improved since living here. The staff without exception in empathetic and skilled. The surroundings are friendly and the decor reminds me of a pleasant mid-level hotel. Assistance is always available without being intrusive on private time. Personal preferences are respected, and residents can choose to participate in activities or not, as they prefer. Maintenance staff is competent and approachable. Each resident is respected as an individual and encouraged to live as fully as possible with varying degrees of disability. The facility is located directly across the street from a large grocery store, but meals are provided in the well-equipped dining area. The campus has lovely outdoor gazebos in which to enjoy the outdoors when seasons permit. Satisfaction often depends on a resident's own attitude, but there is little to complain about here. I am delighted to be a satisfied resident.
