Did more harm than good.They did not have the required IV medication ready and several doses were missed even though our mother was being treated for serious pneumonia infection which almost killed her. They lied when arrangements were first being made. They assured us that mom would have single room which was requested prior to admission due to past bad experiences. We could have gone somewhere else, yet they then placed our mother with another patient who had mental problems and was yelling, swear and threatening our mother. the other lady also had the tv on full blast at night time. Staff did not help the threatening situation. Mom would have been ok to have a roommate for a day or two if there was not a threatening situation. Staff was aware the other patient was threatening prior to admission and yet they still placed mom with her. This caused great stress to our weakened mother who did not sleep the entire night. We are very disappointed. There were options they could have done and they not only did not protect her but they failed to give her needed medications. Said they did not have anyone who could administer the IV medications. I am not sure not having a RN who can administer medications on staff is exactly safe.
