My father has been at Founders for about a year…it was only a few months old when we first came…and we have been completely satisfied. The whole staff…including doctor, nurses, therapists, aids, and each volunteer…has been most attentive and caring. It doesn't hurt to have family staying in touch, but we have complete confidence when we are not able to be there. We were in an emergency situation when we found ourselves in need of a rehab at first…my father had had a stroke and suffers from Alzheimer's…and we spent one night at another facility until we found Founders. What a relief I first felt walking in to the clean and bright facility! There seems to be a lot of love floating around in that place, and things have only improved in the past year of our stay. Sadly, because of my father's Alzheimer's, he was not able to participate in the physical therapy necessary to restore his ability to walk. So he is a resident now, but we couldn't be more pleased with the facility and those providing his care.
