My mother has been in the facility for two years. I have found the facility provides quick response when family member reports an issue with resident care. Knowing we have a family council makes me very comfortable, not many facilities have this luxury. I feel this provides a vehicle to share my issues with others (GOOD AND BAD) and hear their concerns. This proves to me, the facility is willing to listen to the family concerns.
Need to work on keeping familiarity within halls so residents are comfortable with whom is tending to them. Residents tend to get confused and uncomfortable when staff changes regularly.
Maintenance is constantly working on repairs and renovations to keep the facility presentable and clean. This is an older facility ,so it will never be perfect, but at least work is constantly in progress.
Staff is easy to approach and discuss issues, as needed concerning residents.
Every facility has issues. No place can ever replace home. There are a lot of activities available for residents or all capacities.
I have no regrets concerning our stay here.
