My Mom had a rod put in her leg and her insurance covered her for a rehab/nursing facility. This terrified me, because my dad had been to one earlier for a broken hip and it was horrible. My husband and I read reviews and called Avante' to find out if it would be a good place for Mom. Mr. Prince, the owner, called me back and answered all of my questions. They worked with Mom to make sure her insurance would cover it. The facility, though under construction, was clean, bright, inviting, and NOT AT ALL like a nursing home. The smell was fresh and clean. They gave Mom a private room even though her insurance would not pay extra for that, because they knew she would need room for all her visitors. The chef came by, met her, and made sure he met all her dietary needs and wants. And of course, the food was excellent. On the first day, Mr. Prince stayed after work and met with us to answer any other questions. His office staff was accomodating, helpful, and extremely kind. My Mom was treated like a Queen. I am overjoyed with the physical therapists, owner, nurses, techs, maintenance, and the office staff. I whole-heartedly recommend Avante' to you. Thank you, C Marks
