Review of Nazareth Living Care Center

Mother was in hospital and needed skilled nursing facility. She was diagnosed with dementia (i.e. experiences some short-term memory loss). The intake/admissions person was rude, it seemed an effort to return my call. She asked me questions about her memory and stated their concern was that she was going to put weight on her leg and fall. She said she would get back to me and never did. I heard from the hospital discharge planner. They refused her. Due to the nature of the questions they asked made me wonder what kind of patient do they take care of. People who age show the same symptoms and experience the same fragility that my mother did. I come to find out later another reason possibly refused was she is 6 ft and over 250 lbs. I only experienced the intake process and do feel we were discriminated against, but I also question the care based on their questions of me.
