The facililty is very clean. However, it is hugely disappointing from the perspective of resident care. Profit seems the single motivating factor for this "healthcare" facility. Resident skilled care is abominally below par. Staff is consistently juggled from 1st (rehab) floor to 2nd (skilled nursing). Very large CNA turnover. The more experienced CNA staff inconsistently works with the skilled care patients who are in desperate need of good, quality care. Most of the Actvity Staff was let go due to "profit" needs of the parent company. Most of the superior Nursing staff is overworked and their concerns, seem disregarded. There is a legitimate concern that the good, hardworking staff will leave and the facility will be in worse shape.We, Monroe County residents, were looking to this facility to provide superior care to Nursing home residents and instead another inferior Nursing home has come.
