This place is a hell-hole. My mother was there for just over a year. She had almost continual urinary-tract infections. Every time I visited she was sitting in wet Depends, often so wet they were falling off. The staff would not even acknowledge your presence when you approached the nurses station until you forced the issue. She had a C. diff infection that never went away, and that prevented me from transferring her to another facility. Often when I visited her her hair was so dirty it smelled. When she died there, exactly two people told me they were sorry and the home never even sent a sympathy card. The actual building deteriorated markedly in the year she was there. They primed the hallways to paint and a year later the painting was still not done. Often there was food on the floor and the staff would walk right on by and not even attempt to clean it up. One resident was permitted to set his air conditioner at 50 degrees in November. This went on for over a week, until the family complained. He ended up with pneumonia. When the staff was told about it, they giggled and said they got goosebumps every time they walked in the room. In summary, I would not allow this place to care for my dog.
