Review of Broomall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

1 Star User Review

Broomall Rehab proved to be the opposite of what we searched for when my mother was there: the staff was overwhelmed and although perhaps well-intentioned, they were too busy to pay attention to the needs of the patients. I witnessed lack of sensitivity, unprofessionalism, and staff turnover was extremely high. The staffing on weekends is particularly bad. In fact, my mother was dropped by a CNA which eventually led to her decline. As a result of our bad experience there, I entered into the field of advocacy for long term care and know now better than ever that Broomall Rehab is deficient on multiple levels. I would not put anyone that I love there.

Your comments about Broomall Nursing Center are very very true…. Sad to say but it is. I was recently employed there and I had high hopes about the facility. The administrative staff spoke really good about the quality of care there; which I loved. Sad to say but my second day I knew I no longer wanted to work there.

There is lack of attention to patient, some C.N.A's show poor care and do not wash properly. My experience during orientation was that a man needed to go to the bathroom I went to get help and the C.N.A told me he can wait he is not my resident I couldn't even do anything because I didn't know the protocol for that resident. I felt bad and after telling the nurse she didn't even care.
