A patient wripped a call cord out of the wall and strangled my mother with the call cord. My mother was left unattended in her wheelchair at 8:49 p.m. on 5/28/2013. The staff did not inform me of this incident and when I arrived after the incident, the staff person *giggled* at me. Why my mother who is severely neurologically disabled was even awake at this hour baffles me. I believe is indicative of neglect.
