Review of Carriage Inn of Dayton

1 Star User Review

Nursing home keeps patients longer than necessary to milk Medicare & patients bank accounts for as long as they possibly can.

My wife has been a resident of Carriage Inn of Dayton for more than 3 years. This facility seems to accept shoddy care by its STNA's. When you complain to the director of nursing you first get excuses, second you get denial and then third, the director says something abrasive to you and you become frustrated. This is certainly not the worst nursing home in Dayton but it is very far from being the best. This facility is owned by a family. It is a for profit facility. The family spends absolutely no money on the residents and the wages they pay are poverty line so they make very sure that the facility turns a hefty profit. They should have been put out of business years ago. My wife is being transferred soon.
