I would like to see patients more involved in activities, and outlet , Ive been coming to this facility,3 months and all Ive seen residents doing is sitting in wheel chairs and watching tv, the majority of their time is spent sitting. If i would have known there was little interaction w residents on this floor,i would have looked for care else where. Alzheimers patients need things to stimulate them . Residents who take therapy, get that time out of the wheel chair only. back in chair and upstairs. some aides are wonderful and caring, but most dont care its a pay check. when children dont ck. on parents. you dont know what isnt getting done. God bless the residents. To many patients for work force. Everyone is over whelmed. check on your resident often. To many come in walking and leave in wheels chairs. some could do movements in wheelchairs like leg lifts with directions , where is the person for activities ? Everyone needs a outlet. some arent as bad as others, Try new things.
