I find the 1 or 2 star rating for this facility a bit disturbing and outdated. My mother has been a long-term resident for over 7 years. Overall this is one of the best facilities in the area. A large part of care success for a loved one is the involvement of the family members. The facility as a whole offers what's needed for all the different needs with nursing care. The staff are always willing to listen and improve upon questions or concerns from a resident or family member. But I find that a very important piece of the success of care starts with the amount of involvement with the family members. The Laurels of Forest Glen is overall a fine facility for your loved one. Are there going to be some issues that come up? Sure there will be, but they will work to resolve those issues too! Overall this facility is one that I think you should consider.
