My Mom has been at the facility for the last ten days which is as long as Medicare would pay for. She needed more therapy but she was absolutely miserable over there. She had hip replacement surgery and needed the physical therapy and round the clock care. Her incision was only looked at twice while she was there, her blood sugar only checked once(she is a serious diabetic), her potty chair was left in the room uncovered and with urine in it, none of her requests were ever handled. The light switch in her room did not have a string and she couldn't even turn the light on or off. I don't think they changed the bed but a couple of times. When she went to therapy, they would work with her for maybe 10 minutes and then she would have to sit in a wheelchair while they worked with others. She was not mistreated, but the lack of care and attending to her needs was slack to say the least. They don't do physical therapy on the weekends so out of the 10 days, she only got 6 days of actual therapy. She had a terrible sore on her bottom and they never even looked at it or treated it. She had stayed there before and she said this stay was nothing like it was previously. No one ever knew the answers to her questions or even bothered to try and find an answer. I will never, never send my Mom back there again!
