Review of Hamilton Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

4 Star User Review

My Mother has been there for seven months and I felt she was very safe. There was only one aide there I didn't feel comfortable with, out of many, I say that is very good. I asked for her to be taken off my mothers case and they did it immediately without any stress involved. They have a therapy floor seperate and a really good vibe, it's like a party and getting better at the same time. We have many favorites, so would take too many names. I am trying to get her re admitted again for the next three to six months. I know there are other facilities that look perhaps more glamorous, but we take safety into account more then looks. It is very clean, no bad smells and we love the aides there!! It's in a pretty area where you can go sit across the street by a pond of different types of birds, rabbits etc. Nice location to take your parent or spouse out that may be staying there. they do a lot of activities every day.

This place has become a very negative experience and a danger. My Mother was trapped in the bed bleeding and ringing the bell and the head nurse ignored her pleas for help, the other patient had to go out and get someone. A guest actually helped get my Moms arm out of the side of the bed and she was bleeding badly. They didn't even do the dressing right and the nurse over seeing it is a wound care specialist. There is so much to say and I'm in the middle of a battle which might become legal, so for now I will only say this, but there is much more. Only thing good is the Rehabilitation staff and the activities people are wonderful and do care. The Head nurse, DR and two Nurses right now are a true danger!
