What a wonderful place! Not only a clean home, but the care my grandmother got was top notch. All of the staff from A to Z made us feel welcome. It is our first experience with a sub acute/long term care facility and I am happy to recommend it to anyone who is considering. Thank you Bristol manor.

The original 5 star review of this facility is either a phony post or like the others here have said they do not visit on a regular basis. If you care for your loved one DO NOT place them in this facility. According to US NEWS and other reviews of nursing homes the nursing staff here deserves 2 out of 5 stars, which is extremely low. In my opinion they do not even deserve that. I have seen nurses aids sleeping (yes sleeping!) while their assigned patient in a wheelchair actually flailed their legs attempting to hit a table in order to wake them. Head nurses attempting to appear professional, placating family members only making empty promises as to what they would do to help the patient. Patients crying that they needed to use the bathroom and being ignored for long periods of time. Impatient aids attempting to feed patients that needed special attention. Elevators constantly broken down and dilapidated refrigerators with doors left ajar (this is where patients food and milk is kept). Doctors that do not respond to numerous phone calls from concerned family members and are rarely seen. To top it all off, thievery by staff of personal property is unbelievable. To take a persons meaningful personal property when they're gravely ill is a sick act by a hideous person. These are the things that were seen by caring family members unfortunately too late to make a difference. To the few good nurses and aids that were met, please rise above and find a truly caring place to work. To those nurses who most surely should not be in the caring business, FIND ANOTHER PROFESSION! While the reception area is being renovated to make a better initial impression, the administration should get a clue that patient care along with a top notch nursing staff should be their top priority. This is what will fill your beds and bring you the almighty dollar that you value so much, while it is our loved ones that we value. To the administration - How you sleep at night?? Loving families - do your research on the nursing homes. Again, DO NOT place your loved one here if you care.
I agree. They either visit occasionally, or are a private pay resident, or someone that works there wrote this. I am there all the time and I would never recommend them.
