we were very unhappy with this facility; carpeting on the floor is a terrible idea, as there was a urine odor. Also, the dementia and Alzheimer's patients are on same floors as alert patients, which is not only depressing, but it is also scary to see staff members get kicked or hit and wonder if your loved one will experience the same. I complained a lot, especially when my Mother said she had to wait a long time to be taken to the bathroom; they told me she was confused and did not wait long…we moved her out after 7 (LONG!) months and found her to be in much better spirits, NO CONFUSION, she is eating better due to not being miserable, and this facility now has her walking with a rolling walker; all Alaris Kearny did was get her walking a little bit and stuck her in a wheelchair. I recommend you not use this facility.
