Care One at New Milford New Milford, New Jersey 07646
Woodcrest is nice from the outside. From the inside, its chaos. The management is atrocious, and the some of the nursing staff reflect the same miserable attitude and behavior. The rooms are stink and you dare not complain. Documents are filled in with patient care that were never given. Its all about ensuring that forms are filled, just in case they sued, then the forms will show all is well when in reality the opposite is true. From the way they behave I strongly believe that some of the doctors and nurses who work there were refused jobs at a normal hospital and this is their next option. If you care about your mother or father etc. please, do not send them to Woodcrest unless you need life insurance money and quick.
Care One at Teaneck Teaneck, New Jersey 07666
It is an awful place. I had to get emergency surgery as a result of negligence. If You want to get rid of an older relative, this is the place!!!! Care ONe??? More like CARE NONE!!!! I was interviewed at admission time in the hall, they could care less about patient confidentiality. The food is awful and they do not handle alternative selections as they claim. They just make excuses and pretend that you're anti semetic. This place is a HELLHOLE with vomit stains on the walls, the smell of urine and fecal splatter on privacy curtains. Don't believe me? I have pictures!!!! I was injured there and had to get emergency surgery and these bastard didn't even call my wife!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HELLHOLE!!!!
Care One at Ridgewood Avenue Paramus, New Jersey 07652
Please do NOT put your loved one in Care One @ Ridgewood Avenue. The dietician is wonderful..other than that, the nursing assistants are hostile, and the nurses have NO time for your loved one. My mother was literally forced to be in diapers because no one, including physical therapy, would work with her on any transfers, and right away the tone was about what she COULDN'T do..literally from day one. The care meetings were simply a financial inquiry into how I was going to PRIVATE PAY IN THE FUTURE. The rooms are dirtydarkand isolated. Thank God I got her out in time..I pray for the others .iF YOUR PARENT IS UNABLE TO ADVOCATE FOR THEMSELVES..GET THEM OUT OF THERE!!

Our family wants to thank all the staff at Alaris Health for their kindness and above all their care for our loved ones. In the past 8 years my grandmother and uncle were residents at Alaris Health in Rochelle Park, New jersey and when my grandmother died and my uncle took ill with Alzheimer's and needed extra care we all knew where he was going. Now my uncle just pasted and we were comforted knowing he was with his second family (Alaris Health) and they made his last days comfortable. So again thank you all!
Sincerely,
The Koch Family

My mom had a stroke on Christmas Eve. She was sent from the hospital to Kessler of Saddle Brook than Care One in Teaneck because the hospital had told us they came highly rated. We never thought of looking around BIG MISTAKE! Both facility never made us feel welcomed & seemed far more interested in how we were paying than how they could help my mom recover. After seeing my frustration my wife decided to look at Alaris Health at Rochelle Park. We were greeted by Rebecca, a social worker, who sat us down, explained their program and said what can we do for you and meant every word! We immediately put in for a transfer! Care One had set up the transfer but on a day I could not take off to accompany my mother! I called Alaris and asked for the Administration Director. Michele immediately moved the transfer to Saturday so neither myself or my wife would have to miss work! We knew immediately that Alaris Heath at Rochelle Park was nothing like Care One or Kessler they actually cared about their patients & their families! If you are looking for a immaculately clean rehab/nursing home where EVERYONE will greet you with how can I help you & really mean it, than look no more. From the administration, social workers, rehab crew, nurses/aides, they will think of everything and then say can we do more. Another VERY important factor to us was supervision & safety measures! Alaris has far more procedures in place to assure supervision & safety than either rehab my mom was in! The only regret I have is that my mom did not come here straight from the hospital!

My mom was admitted to Alaris as a rehabilitation patient. In time we realized that my mom would need around the clock care. The people at Alaris realized how difficult of a decision this was for our family and was very caring and supportive. My mom has now been at Alaris for 4 months and we couldn't be happier with her care. All of the Alaris representatives from the Social Worker's to my moms nurses to the ladies that manage the cafeteria are all helpful and want the best for the patients.
Alaris Health at Rochelle Park Rochelle Park, New Jersey 07662
My father has been at Alaris for 5 years. I live in Florida, and am dependent on the staff at Alaris to not only take care of my father but also to keep me informed. I feel the staff does their job well in both areas. My father has made some close relationships with some of the nurses, social workers and even the director. It makes me feel good to know that even though I can not be there everyday that he is well taken care of.

The nursing home administrator is good at what he does…he pays attention to fine details, he gets things fixed. The nurses are really good. I have been here for eight years and only have amazing things to say. My CNA is really nice too. Alaris Health at Rochelle park is a good place to be. They took great care of me.

I am a resident here at Alaris Health at Rochelle Park. I have been here for 5 months. I feel that the facility has a very comfortable setting. There are plenty of recreational activities. The staff and patients are very nice. I feel like I belong to a big family.

I was very apprehensive about my mom having to go to an assisted living facility. I am still hopeful she can come home one day. I was also not thrilled with the distance the facility is from my home. And the rehab she stayed in a few weeks before wasn’t the greatest in terms of attentiveness and care, so there was that as well.
But thanks to Megan and her wonderful staff at Plaza Regency, mom is looking better, thinking clearer, walking a bit AND, most importantly, getting good care. Megan is exceptional at her job and reports important medical info to me and is always there to speak with me about mom and advise. (Shout out to Sheeba and Joan and all the aides!)
And they’re even getting her to eat!
I am grateful to Plaza Regency for alleviating some of my distress and heartache about the need to get mom 24/7 care. And I no longer dread the drive (it’s still annoying but once I get there, I can usually breathe a sigh of relief when I see mom looking healthy and well cared for).
Finally, I am no longer as anxiety-ridden about mom’s health because I know she is getting proper care and I could not provide that 24/7.

This place is terrible. Please spare a loved one from going through what my mother did. Her glasses were stolen, had 3 falls while in their care and they missed giving her chemo medication for over a week. Needless to say I brought her home early. They should be ashamed of themselves!
Maple Glen Center Fair Lawn, New Jersey 07410
I generally liked the staff at maple Glenn however the place smells all the time and is filthy. Your shoes stick to the floor when you walk and they never clean the resident tables or much of anything outside of the common areas. They also do not separate Alzheimer's patients from the rest as most nursing homes do.
Care One at Teaneck Teaneck, New Jersey 07666
This is by far the worse Rehab Facility I have ever been in. My husband was a patient there for 10 days and all I can say is 'NEVER, EVER AGAIN." On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, this is my rating: FOOD "O", CLEANLINESS "1", AIDES "3", NURSES "9", THERAPISTS "10" AND DOCTORS "2", SOCIAL WORKER "2".
Kosher or not, the food wasn't fit for an animal. I brought in my own "non-kosher" food, my husband was starving. The place was always dirty looking. The aides took over 2 hours one day to bring him a glass of water. Please listen to me, there are other facilities better than this. STAY AWAY FROM CARE ONE IN TEANECK.

It gives me great pleasure in writing this letter to your attention.
Unfortunately, the orthopedist had informed me that I needed a total knee replacement and
highly suggested a rehabilitation facility after surgery. Immediately, I began visiting many
facilities. Working for a doctor, I know what to look for and what would be best of me.
From the moment I had entered your lobby, a feeling of relief was felt inside me. I was
impressed and knew that this was the place I would choose. This decision I had made has
been one that I will never regret.
On April14, 2013 I was admitted to Plaza Regency; instantly I had felt the warmth and
concern of all employees. Though it was a Sunday, everyone there brighten the day with
their smiles and willingness to assist in any way.
While I was at Plaza I noticed the cleanness of the facility, there was never any odors as I
found at many of the other facilities I visited. My room and my bathroom was cleaned
everyday, which was an important factor to me.
In addition, the design of the Therapy Department enabled one to feel positive by the
brightness and cheery ambiance. All of the equipment was clean and ready to be used by
the next patient. I had to pleasure of meeting Mr. James Banogan, the director, who was
extremely caring and professional. After meeting him, I had met my personal therapist,
Annalisa with her warm and friendly smile. There wasn't a time that she did not encourage
me to try an exercise that I thought I couldn't do, but she assured me that I could do it and
she was right. Her constant motivation and support was a significant factor in my early
discharge from rehab.
When I left I knew that I was ready to do outpatient rehab, I had only wished that your
facility was not so far from my home because I would certainly have gone there for the
outpatient rehab. I had also received occupational therapy with Angie, the therapist; again
I couldn't be more pleased.
Let me comment on the nursing under the direction of Amanda Sprofera. There was never
a time that whatever I needed I did not receive. The nurses tried their best to help with
whatever I needed from them, be medication, change of a bandage, or just someone to ask a
question.
Unfortunately, I will have to have my second knee done on July 9th of this year and with
this one I already know that I will be returning to Plaza for my rehab.
In closing, I want to thank everyone at Plaza that made my stay so pleasurable and so
successful, since that was our main concern.
See you in October!

Looks can be deceiving - aesthetically pleasing but that is where it ends. Poor State Ratings, RN Nursing to patients ratio horrendous and the weekends are abhorrent with patients suffering, call bells on for hours, limited staff. The previous reviews must have been written by internal corporate employees and/or ownership and are not unbiased reviews - be careful here. This is a dangerous place -

This is truly a wonderful facility the people are caring. The building is beautiful. The food is like having a home cooked meal. I would recommend this place to all of my loved ones. Other facility's in the area that my mom has been in are a dump just looking to make a buck. Plaza has their hearts in the right place

Care One at Ridgewood Avenue Paramus, New Jersey 07652
This place should be called Careless One. Before you consider placing your loved ones at Care One long term, do your homework. Numerous requests to have social security numbers removed from the medical files to protect against identity theft were ignored. Countless errors in record keeping by staff on all levels/all depts. We recently requested the medical files for our loved one and received copies of another patient's records, a clear violation of Hippa privacy guidelines. Does anyone at Care One actually care?
Care One at Ridgewood Avenue Paramus, New Jersey 07652
Decent facility. The CNA's here are rude and seem to only care about their own time and their own well being. Most authoritative figures here seem to be "drunk with power". The new administrator likes to "put employees in their place" in front of people watching and does not seem to have strong interpersonal skills my mother said she witnessed "a show". The one good thing about this place is the Rehab. The therapists are all wonderful and the rehab techs are fun and caring. Although the gym is so overcrowded my mother said it was hard to do her exercises in the chaos. Overall I would NOT recommend this place for anyone. Maybe when they hire a competent, genuinely nice and caring person to run this facility and not a racist radio host for an administrator this place would do better.

I therapists were great and the nurses were wonderful. I was nervous coming in since this was my first experience with a rehab facility but could not have been happier with my stay. Thanks also to Alexandra and Christine in admissions who are such warm and caring people.
Care One at Cresskill Cresskill, New Jersey 07626
Staffing is poor. Very few RNs - Facility is run by aides. Weekends have little or no staff. Patients need their own family or aids to care for and feed them. Have seen more than one patient injured from falling off wheelchair. Oxygen is not monitored. Not a nice place to stay.
Alaris Health at the Chateau Rochelle Park, New Jersey 07662
I came to this site while searching for a subacute for my father. I found some horrific comments. I actually was mortified reading the one comment and almost took The Chateau out of the choices I was making. That would have been horrible. After speaking with their representative at the hospital and going for a tour, the review couldnt be more wrong. My father has been there 3 weeks. He will be coming home next week!!! The staff is onderful. Very helpful. Watch what you read…people can be mean and so can other facilities who are competing for businrss
Atrium Post Acute Care of Park Ridge Park Ridge, New Jersey 07656
Urinary Tract Infections are widespread throughout the facility, mainly because patients diapers are not5 changed often enough. Many CNA's ignore call bells and allow patient to sit in wet diapers, especially on the weekends. They need to have more continuity between Cna and patient care, thus the CNA would get to know the patient routine and needs. They go out of their way to keep change them, this upsets the good hard working CNA's. On the weekend they hire people from outside agencies who could care less about patient needs. One put my mom to bed without washing her, no diaper, and slept in mom's recliner while mom cried and was to afraid to complain because she didn't know this person. When mom tolld me, I complained, and was told she wouldn't return, she did? Just not right and unfair to our elderly population.

I spent 2 weeks after my knee surgery in this facility. The staff are truly amazing. The therapists and nurses are truly caring and I could not have asked for better care. There is no question that I will be back when it comes time to have my other knee done.
