Poor medication policies

in a 28 day stay this is the worst place possible. never got meds right always given an excuse from the r.a. that could write the order but couldn't make the employees follow it.diet never right contacted 3 weeks after his passing to say dietician would meet to get it right. could go on forever. these are just a coulple of the problems that occoured on a daily basis. and we went to the top of those in charge with no results

I would never put anyone in there. My experience with my fiancé was horrible there, down to basic things, such as how to move a patient from the bus into the facility when they have a broken femur. Keeping the area clean and safe for residents is also a problem. Medication mistakes happened as well. Find another place if you care about the person requiring help.

My mother has been at Apple-Rehab Cooney for over a year now. The level of care she receives has been much better than the other two facilities she was in prior to moving to Cooney. Personnel at Cooney have been fabulous, easy to communicate with, and make every effort to accommodate my mother's needs. When I have visited, I have found the facilities to be neat and clean, and pleasant smelling. Mom says the beds are very comfortable, and everyone is so nice to her. Mom tells me the food is so much better than what she had at other facilities. The dietitian cares about Mom's food preferences, and other options are offered if she doesn't want the main menu. Mom is seen every month by her doctor or the nurse practitioner, and any medical concerns are brought to my attention quickly. During care plan meetings, I have found Cooney to be open and honest about Mom's needs and work with me to determine the best course of action. I have been very happy with my experience with Cooney.

My sister was a patient in this center and she died on June 1, 2013. She had $994.00 in her account and it hasn't been returned to our family as of today, December 10, 2013. I called the center numerous times but no answer and no calls back to my left messages. I wrote letters to staff members but no answer. It seems my poor sister's $994.00 has disappeared. I was going to use the money to buy her a headstone. I'm very disappointed in this whole mess.

Both of my parents are in this facility at the moment and are very happy to be able to be together while my Dad regroups after having hip replacement surgery. The care givers are very thoughtful and considerate as my Mother has Alzheimer’s and can be very difficult at times yet they are patient and loving to everyone there.

My heartfelt thanks to all who are making their lives more comfortable and for caring!

This was a Great Place for my Moms rehab from a recent fall with a hip fracture.The admission department had every thing ready prior to her arrival so that we didn't have to wait long for her room. They have a concierge that goes above the call. She loved the staff and they where always making sure she was ok. The nurses follwed the doctor orders to a tee. They would also inform us if any thing changed in her care. therapies are the best. We sent her to benefis west last year they where ok but the staff at MRCR was amazing. I just wanted everyone know that even though they are only shown to have a one star rating they are a 5 start to us. They will receive all if our family business if something should happen. Also we brag to our friends about the care.
