This facility accepts a high percentage of residents with psychiatric/behavioral issues. Therefore, the environment can be (and has been) quite noisy. This is also a rare facility that still offers tobacco-smoking breaks, so the beautiful internal garden area is frequently interrupted by large groups of smokers. Hallways are quite narrow and frequently congested, making it frustrating for residents to move about freely at times. However, the staff seem very caring and it is apparent that the utmost attention to cleanliness is ever-present.
