My mother was a resident of this facility for 2 and a half months. She was rehab to home on their road to recovery hall. Therapy and nursing really done a great job helping my mother do return home using only a cane. The food was very good as I would eat dinner with my mother most nights. The staff were very friendly and always greeted me and my mother when we walked through the facility. I'm excited to tour the facility once all the upgrades and contruction is completed this year.

This home is in great need for new interior. The odor that comes from the home is not sanitary. Most of the staff is friendly, but some are very rude. Compasion is something needed in a home like such, in which I felt none when I visited my family. I have been let know several times that my family recieved the wrong medication as well as her personal belongings have come missing. The kitchen staff was very rude to me and my mother. The nurses on day shift seemed very friendly, more so than the staff I met in the evening shifts. I think the home seemed to be very understaffed. My opinion is made from observations and also when I spoke with a niteshift nurse that told me she never had time to take care of people the way she felt they needed. That would make the DON very negligent. I have reported these things to the state. I moved my mother from this home as well.

As a former employee of heritage house, I was employeed as a cna, I would give it 3 out of 5 stars. The building is in desperate need of a remodel or updating. The care is about 50/50 there are some cnas who truly love their job and appreciate our residents. Then there are some cnas who don't but I imagine that would be the same at any nursing home. As far as the nursing goes most of them are great! There is one day shift and one second shift nurse who is quite rude and could afford to retire.

This place provides meals that are almost unfit to eat. Residence have been known to go to bed hungry because of the poor quality of the food. Whomever owns this place needs to eat at Morning Breeze in order to accurately assess just how bad this food is. Its terrible and I would never recommend Morning Breeze to any child trying to decide where to place their parents to receive good care. Each time I talk with my parent, its not long before the "awful food" becomes the subject of our discussion.
