So far, our experience has been outstanding with this facility. I toured many before I chose the nursing home from my Mom. UniHealth of Marietta may be dated in looks, but the nursing staff has been extremely warm, caring and helpful. The administrative personnel have provided excellent financial guidance and helped us through the arduous process of having Mom admitted into their care. Although I have been to facilities that looked better, I chose UniHealth of Marietta strictly on the care and attention of their staff. We were just admitted last Friday, but just from the current interaction, I have been impressed. The director called the residents by name and even asked about them and their interests/family. The admissions director has been outstanding. From so many other facilities i visited, I never felt like it was the right place until now. All I can say to advise others is that you should look into elder care issues long before the admission date has arrived. Knowledge is power with senior care.
