Review of Budd Terrace at Wesley Woods

My husband was at Budd Terrace for 6 days, on the 6th day he woke up sick..with high fever, vomiting, totally confused about who he was, where he was, didn't know me. From 9:30 until 4 pm I tried to get someone other than a nurse to check him. The only thing they did for him was a suppository for fever & vomiting. At 4pm they gave him an IV bag, which at 8 that night had only emptied 1/4 , which we found out later that it wasn't the right kind. I told the nurses that my husband will dehydrate very quickly & there's a chance he could have URI, but much to my sorrow they did not get involved in helping my husband. Finally around 9 that night I got the supervisior to hear what I had been saying all day.. by then it was to late, by the time we got him to Emory Hosp. he was deathly sick. Thanks to the care he got at Budd Terrace and their wonderful staff my husband stayed in Emory Hosp. for 6 days. He had UTI & Severe Sepsis. During the time I was trying to get help he suffered a stroke. I have not heard one word from Budd Terrace about how my husband is doing. I think the reason why is…they know without a doubt they did not take care of him. If I had that day to re-live I would have called 911 without asking them anything. Would I suggest Budd Terrace for someone for rehab, not a chance. After what happened there it's hard to believe it's an Emory facility. My husband was there for rehab from back surgery. He was doing great with rehab until he got sick, they don't know how to handle the sick part.
