I am very upset with this place. My mother has been there 7 days, she has yet to get a shower. I called and asked about this to the social worker, she assured me she would get her a shower, 24 hours later and still no shower. My mother asked Sunday if she could get a shower, she was told that she can have a shower on Wednesday or Saturday, she wasn't offered a shower either of those days, tomorrow will be 8 days….WEDNESDAY maybe she'll get a shower then? There is a dead cockroach in the corner that has been there since she got there, I suspect it will still be there after she leaves. Their "diabetic meals" come with a dessert and no it's not sugar free. I was told that they cut the sugar back by omitting whip cream if it comes on the dessert. The room my mom is in gets very cold at night because the other patient gets hot at night. There's a note on the thermostat that says "do not touch", I guess the other patient's comfort is more important than my mom's? She can't sleep because she's so cold, so I asked the social worker if she could change rooms, she said that was not a problem and that she would move her tonight if not first thing in the morning. It's 2:00 pm the next day, and she still hasn't been moved. I called to get her discharged as I am done playing with these people and now no one will answer at the nurse's station or at the social worker's desk. When she calls for someone to come help her they take their time strolling in…10 min in fact, I timed it myself. If anyone ever has an emergency they might die before someone comes in. When I went to visit on Sunday there was a man outside sleeping hunched over in his wheelchair, no one around keeping an eye on him. When I left later he was still there in the same position. I think there are a lot of people working there, but not a lot of people working. I expect my mother to be treated with the same respect and care they would expect for their mothers and if this is the way they treat their mothers then no mother should go there! Be wary of this place, do your research, and don't let the hospital suggest a place to you, I made that mistake and now my mother is suffering for it.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone that cares about their loved one. My aunt was a patient for 100 days for rehabilitation therapy after suffering a broken hip. She is now in the hospital for infected wounds (bed sores that went untreated), cannot stand, and suffering from severe malnutrition. While in Regents we meet multiple times with staffing and changes were never made. I fear that if we had not visited everyday we would be planning her funeral.

The majority of the floor staff are adequate at their jobs. The administration and managerial team need major improvement.

Sorry to hear the other persons impression of call lights being answered. My expience has been wonderful service of my family member. The staff responds quickly to their needs and I for one am grateful of the care they provide daily.

Call lights will go off for a long time and no one will answer them. The Assistant DON's will sit at the station and will not even check to see what is going on when call lights are going off. Not enough staff available to help patients. Aide's are always complaining about not having enough supplies to care for patients.

This place is disgusting. It smells of urine and feces. When my loved one was there. (My husband was there for a VERY short time.) The aides did the best they could based on the fact that there are 10-12 patients per aide. Kudos to them.The administrator doesn't have a clue what she is doing. She is condescending and very disingenuous. The Director of nurses is a JOKE. She looks shabby and unkept. looks like she slept in her scrubs. If you care at all about your loved one, DO NOT take them there. Terrible environment for the sick and elderly. If there was a NO star option I would have clicked on it.

if you love your loved one, then don't even let them cross the doorway entrance to this place. The administrator is a male hating, inconsiderate, fake and money grubbing corporate scum. The Director of Nursing is a robot with a programmed response to families and employees. I've never seen someone in a Director of Nursing position who looks so disheveled with her hair and faded old nursing scrubs that are about 5 sizes too small. Many of the employees there from the housekeeper to the nurses run around with their heads cut off looking stressed out. I've overhead staff saying that there is no way your gonna get quality care with number of patients to nurses. My wife could never get supplies like toothpaste because they "didn't have it" and the supply person need to order it. I can go on and on. Please don't go there for any care!!!!!
