When Dad was there for rehab, the rehab staff would come in for his "session" then they would leave because they forgot the gait belt or anything else for the excuse to leave and return. I don't believe he ever got a complete session his entire time there. The regular staff would not allow him to toilet himself, he was on oxygen and the cord would not reach, BUT they did not come when he rang, so he went himself and was so short of breath he could not make it back….pulled that bathroom alarm and they still took their time. We found that room mated helped each other more than the staff.
I would NOT allow another family member to go there!!
