during lunchtime my mom needs help to eat, well i made a surprise visit to her this past tuesday, and found my mom in bed crying, her lunch on the table covered, and her nurse hiding behind the curtain talking on her cell phone. the nurse wasnt even attempting to comfort my mom, she was too busy having a personal call on her phone, when i pulled the curtain back she told the person on the phone, she said " i have a situation and i will call u back" she then became overly friendly and told me the cna will be in soon to feed my mom and she left. thirty minutes later the cna came in , she didnt even offer to warm the meal even after my mom said it was cold. i was too shocked to say anything because the staff put on this friendly face every time they see me, i drove home in tears wondering how often this happens to my mom and the other patients. if your family is a patient there, beware and make surprise visits you will see alot you don't really want to see
