Beautiful facility, great amenities, but not enough aids per wing. Several times (more than 7 in a three week period) my father has sat in the dining room by himself for long periods of time waiting for someone to take him back to his room and he has ended up going back by himself which he shouldn't be doing. Long waiting times after he rings his bell (25 mins was the longest when my mom times it) and he was left stranded in his bathroom a few times. We understand the staff has other people they are helping, but it didn't give us warm fuzzies considering he was a red tag. What if he fell and needed someone? I am still giving it a 4 star because the staff is friendly and most are caring. We have had a couple of aids who have walked away from him if they can't understand what he is saying and one who rolled her eyes when we asked that his pajamas be put on, rather than the gown. It seems the day staff is much more helpful than the night staff….maybe because they are more supervised?
