THank you Festus Manor for the wonderful xmas dinner yesterday. As always the food was excellent. My husband has been a resident since October and I am very pleased with the care he receives. he is bathed regulary, shaved and is kept clean, which is a very big deal. As a stroke victim that can do nothing for himself, he has lost a lot of himself. with the care and therapy he gets he seems very content. what more could a wife of 57 years want for her mate. May God bless every member of the staff and may 2015 be a good year for all

I visited Festes Manor on July 28th,2013, and was appalled at the overall cleanliness of the facility' The patients room was disgusting as there were dirty linens on the bed with feces on them, trash was everywhere. The bathroom was a germ pit. As I walked down the hall I touched the rail along the wall and it was apparent it had not been cleaned for a very long time. If any inspection has been done in recent times they should receive a - rating and be required to clean up their act immediately or be shut down.

My Father and Mother were both in nursing homes , different ones. In comparison Festus should be rated 0 as it does not rate a 1. Shame on the county health dept.

It's outdated , I wouldn't wish this place on no person. It's drab and depressing and should have been closed down long ago . paint on wall not painted the same color. PAINT IS DRIPPED OVER OLD BASEBOARDS. Patient beds are old and out dated Televisions are allowed to blast away at all hours Patients are allowed to sit in the middle of the narrow hallways causing other patients inconvience I've visited many nursing homes this one is by far the worst. It has the same owner as Autumn Ridge that is nice and displayed on t.v. Festus Manor is Jefferson County as it's worst. Someone should be accountable for this. The owners and the county health division need a wake up call. these elderly people need to go out with some dignity
