I have visited this facility several times. I have never had a feeling that the staff cares at all about the patients. I have seen one head nurse interact with patients in a caring way a few times, but everyone else was quite the opposite every time.
Anyone can walk in if you have the code. No one will ever say hello, notice you or speak to you in any way unless you confront them.
There is no mental stimulation at all for the patients or interaction from the staff.
They do keep patients clean, get them up into their wheel chairs in the morning, put them to bed at night, feed them and give them meds. That is ALL though.
Dont expect any type of therapy or mental stimulation. My relative degraded significantly faster at this facility due to the lack of stimulation. It was noticable fairly quickly. Improvement "from family" interaction was also significant. If you dont do it yourself, it wont happen at this place.
It will be up to you to provide any mental or physical stimulation for your loved one. The staff doesnt.
