The facility is filthy. The food is worse than "prison food" as one resident declared last week. They are not only on many days under staffed, those that are present are clueless.. does anyone actually read a patients chart and history? My sister who was admitted at the beginning of October has seen the phantom resident physician once today is the 19th of October we are there daily and no one in my family has met him he saw her on the 5th according mind you to their records and my sister who has suffered brain injury says he hasn't been there ever. My sister was transferred with a feeding tube that was no longer in use we've asked for an appt with HCMC to have it removed and no one there for over 10 days could seem to figure it out… on the 17th it was bleeding I took her to the ER they got her an appt the next after having to prompt the resident phantom doctor who is supposed to be following my sister at the rehab center to give them the order to get it done, and it was scheduled on the 18th of October that was yesterday. They had to arrange last minute transport for her because I had a flat tire an I was told by someone in charge that they were too under staffed and this was too last minute to provide my brain injured short term memory loss sister with an escort.. her procedure was at noon.. when she got back I arrived with another relative and she had been offered no lunch by the staff and had been npo since midnoc an I wonder if it was because I did what they couldn't for her.
