Review of Vermont Healthcare Center

I would not recommend this hospital for anyone and I am filing a complaint with the Ombudsman and state health board. My mom went in with physical injuries and came out near dead and completely out of her mind by the time the center would let me transfer her closer to where I live. She got mulitple infections, was neglected, left sitting in her feces and ended up with Class 4 Bedwounds! They kept refusing the transfer until they called to let me know about the bedwounds and tried to have her moved the very next day so it would be more difficult to investigate! The staff was rude, did not listen to my concerns, kept telling me everything was fine when I called to check on my mom when things clearly were not fine. The social services woman even hung up on me when we were talking on the phone! This place is a death sentence!
