My mother went into this facility 6 days ago from ICU.She is to be here for 20 days to get therapy 2 or 3x a day. She arrived at supper time and was helped to the bathroom. When I saw her again the next morning she was in tears because she was put in diapers and made to use a bed pan with no attempt to assist her to the bathroom anymore. At first we thought it was because of her injuries and let it pass even tho she was upset because she was put on a bed pan and kept asking to be taken off and made to wait. She said the bed pan hurt her so much.I had to get her in a wheelchair when nursing should have been seeing that she was up and NOT in bed..The next day we came and she was waiting for someone to give her a bed pan.Everyone was too busy standing around except a med clerk who kindly asked a CNA to do it.OUT OF SPITE the CNA walked past her room and down the hall and then came back to do it.Plus my mother was wearing the same clothes for 2 days! The next day she told me they came to change her the night before because of my complaint but they put her in her day clothes and she was made to sleep in them with her shoes on!! I told the administrator who said she would talk to the staff. When she saw the therapist she told him to tell me how my mother was doing and she'd talk to the staff during that time.Imagine my horror when I went back to her office and heard her and the Crossroads auditor LAUGHING about me and my complaints and how the administrator "side lined" me with the therapist!! She needs to be fired and the auditor needs to rethink her role at Crossroads.Good therapists but some lazy cruel people working there.A CNA who came on duty that day immediately helped clean my mother,WASH her bed down, wash my mother, get her dressed and remake the bed ALL without being told to.The administrator could learn a lesson from this wonderful woman.

It’s pretty and modern and kept clean. However, we found the staff much more concerned about keeping a bed filled rather than truly caring about the emotional health of the patient or wanting him/her to have the best possible recovery all around. When our family member was recently there the guardian took advantage of our loved one’s “clean slate” to distort and kill beautiful memories and healthy relationships that should have been restored, even to the point of removing documentation in our loved one’s memory book and blocking access. Unfortunately Clearview knowingly allowed this and sadly would not take measures to include the emotional health and restoration of memories, as long as they had another long-term bed filled.
