I spent 8 months at Starr Farm in Rehab in 2012. It was an unexpected journey, and not a welcomed one. However, the staff at Starr Farm did everything in their power to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The facility is kept clean and generally odor free. The therapy staff is outstanding and worked with me daily to strengthen me. The nursing staff, including the LNA's were pleasant and helpful. It's not a hospital, so it may take a few minutes to get a call light answered, but they were always smiling and friendly. The few problems I did have were resolved quickly and to my satisfaction by the administrative staff. The food is pretty good for what you might expect. They treat guests and company very well. Personally, I hope no one has to spend 8 months in rehab, but I would certainly recommend Starr Farm as an outstanding facility. PS I am an RN and former Paramedic, so I do have experience in this area. Thank you.
